Bloomfield waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 54-53 W against the Barr-Reeve Vikings. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Barr-Reeve's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Miller, who went 7-for-13 en route to 18 points and six rebounds. Miller is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jaylon Graber, who shot 56% from the field on his way to 14 points and six boards.

Bloomfield's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Barr-Reeve, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-6.

Bloomfield and Barr-Reeve should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. Bloomfield will take on Shakamak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 130 places (119 vs. 249). Meanwhile, Barr-Reeve (ranked 127th) will meet Vincennes Rivet (ranked 394th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
