Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Chris Fernandez stepped things up a notch to give Ainsworth the 'W'. Fernandez threw for 107 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. The performance also marked the most passer rating (160.4) he has had since back in October of 2024.

Fernandez and Ainsworth will head out to take on Creighton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will pit Fernandez up against Creighton's star signal caller Ethan Kuhl. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
