Surry County lost to West Point back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Surry County Cougars slipped by the West Point Pointers 65-64. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Surry County has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-16 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for West Point, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-12.

Surry County and Brunswick will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for West Point, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Middlesex at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Middlesex will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something West Point surely won't give up without a fight.
