Basketball Recap: Ranney's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Ranney had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the East Brunswick Bears with a sharp 60-34 victory on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Ranney has posted since February 23rd.

Ranney's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for East Brunswick, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ranney will challenge Shore Regional at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for East Brunswick, they will take on South River at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. East Brunswick is facing South River at the right time seeing as South River is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
