Basketball Recap: Liberty Tech Magnet Takes a Loss

Liberty Tech Magnet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 59-30 loss at the hands of the Scotts Hill Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-35 back in January.

Liberty Tech Magnet's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Scotts Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Looking ahead, Liberty Tech Magnet won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Adamsville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Scotts Hill, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
