Baseball Game Preview: Lordstown Red Devils vs. Chalker Wildcats

Lordstown is 1-7 against Chalker since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Red Devils will look to defend their home field against the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Lordstown's offense. They lost 11-0 to Bristol on Monday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Chalker was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They came up short against Brookfield, falling 12-2.

Chalker saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Pack, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. That run was Pack's first of the season.

Chalker now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lordstown, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
