Basketball Recap: University Comes Up Short

University lost against Deltona last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The University Titans fell to the Deltona Wolves 64-60.

Deltona found their leader in sophomore Gage Gentry, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 13 boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gentry has scored all season. Giovanni Sharpe was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals.

University has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for Deltona, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-16.

University has already played their next contest (against Lake Mary), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Deltona has already played their next game, an 85-44 win against Taylor on the 30th.
