Volleyball Recap: Cristo Rey Has No Trouble Against High Tech NC

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Monarch, Cristo Rey was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the High Tech NC Raptor with a sharp 3-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Coyotes: when they faced off against the Raptor back in September, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cristo Rey took every set by at least 25 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Cristo Rey has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-14 record this season. As for High Tech NC, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Cristo Rey will challenge Castle Park at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for High Tech NC, they will square off against King-Chavez Community on Thursday.
