            Softball Recap: Harrison Central Red Rebels vs. Bay Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Biloxi  last Thursday, Harrison Central came back down to earth. The Red Rebels fell just short of the Bay Tigers by a score of  2-1 on Friday.
 Brooke Shannon was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she  tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. Furthermore,  she didn't allow a single  walk, the first time  she has blanked an opponent since back in February.
 At the plate,  Gabrielle Smith made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 4-for-4 with one  triple.
Harrison Central's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Bay,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 8-17.
 Looking ahead, Harrison Central will square off against West Harrison at 11:30  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Bay, they will challenge Moss Point at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
