Football Recap: Sequoia Falls to Mountain View in First Game of Season

Sequoia unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Mountain View Spartans on Wednesday, falling 32-6. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Sequoia lost, don't look at Jamie Elkington. Despite the final result, she picked up 106 receiving yards and one score.

The victory (which was Mountain View's fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Sequoia wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 42-0 defeat against Sacred Heart Prep on the 4th. Mountain View has also already played their next game (against Saint Francis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
