Soccer Recap: New Holstein Comes Up Short

New Holstein and Howards Grove squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but New Holstein had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. New Holstein have struggled against Howards Grove recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

New Holstein's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Howards Grove, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

New Holstein does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Howards Grove, they will face off against Freedom on Thursday. Freedom will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Howards Grove surely won't give up without a fight.
