Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Derby). They blew past the Harding Presidents 26-10 on Wednesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Red Raiders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Kaelyn DiMartino made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and seven unearned) runs off only one hit. DiMartino was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Ari McNeill and Emma DeSanty did most of the damage at the plate: McNeill got on base in five of her six plate appearances with six runs, three stolen bases, and two RBI, while DeSanty went 4-for-7 with three stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. With that strong performance, DeSanty is now averaging an impressive 1.3 stolen bases per game. Kailyn Kross was another key player, going 2-for-6 with four stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
