While Hayden put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Sardis. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 6-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Hayden's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brynn Payne, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Hayden's win bumped their record up to 13-14. As for Sardis, they moved to 15-8 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Hayden has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Brooks on the 28th. As for Sardis, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-5 win against Alexandria on the 29th.
