            Baseball Recap: Cocoa Tigers vs. Oak Ridge Pioneers        
        
		
        
        
            Cocoa was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their 31st straight  loss  dating back to last season. They lost  14-4 to the Oak Ridge Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  19-4  back in March.
  Josh Howard made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2.  Levi Choron was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.
Cocoa's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Oak Ridge, their win  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-12.
 Looking ahead, Cocoa will be taking part in a tournament against Palm Bay  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Oak Ridge, they will head out to  square off against Legacy Charter  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.57  runs per game on average), something the Pioneers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
