Basketball Game Preview: Wilcox County Patriots vs. Wheeler County Bulldogs

The Wilcox County Patriots will head out on the road to face off against the Wheeler County Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilcox County is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Wilcox County is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They lost to Dodge County on the road by a 74-59 margin on Saturday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (57), the Patriots still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Wheeler County can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They took down Telfair County 54-37. That looming 54-37 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.

Wilcox County's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Wheeler County, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7.

Wilcox County strolled past Wheeler County when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 68-51. Will Wilcox County repeat their success, or does Wheeler County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
