Williamsburg won the last time they faced Georgetown and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the G-Men. Considering the Wildcats have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Williamsburg got a big performance out of Delaney Donohoo, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most hits Donohoo has posted since back in March. Kaityln Pollitt was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Williamsburg always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Georgetown only posted an OBP of .227.
Williamsburg's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-3. As for Georgetown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-13.
