Basketball Recap: North Central Comes Up Short

North Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 57-36 to the Sullivan Golden Arrows. The game marked the Thunderbirds' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Sullivan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cooper Bock, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. Bock's morning made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Paul Ridgway, who went 8-for-16 to rack up 18 points and five rebounds.

North Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Sullivan, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-6.

Looking ahead, North Central is taking a road trip to take on Clay City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sullivan, they will be playing at home against Bloomfield at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th.
