Baseball Recap: Eaton Comes Up Short

Eaton lost to Oakwood back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles came up short against the Lumberjacks & Jills, falling 13-3.

Braylen Witt was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Evan Seider was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple.

Eaton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Oakwood, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

While Eaton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
