Billings and Liberal squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Billings had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Billings lost, don't look at Andi Bellamy. Despite the final result, she had 14 digs and two assists.

Billings' loss dropped their record down to 25-11-4. As for Liberal, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-8.

Billings does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Liberal, after both having extra time off, they and Bismarck will shake off the rust and duke it out on Friday.
