Baseball Recap: Summit Hilltoppers vs. Bernards Mountaineers
Summit proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 15) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Bernards Mountaineers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hilltoppers have posted since May 1, 2024.

TJ Flack was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Summit's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 1-5 when he doesn't).

The Mountaineers are facing the Big Blue at the right time seeing as the Big Blue are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
