While McLean's victory against Langley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Highlanders beat the Saxons on Friday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-2. The win was nothing new for the Highlanders as they're now sitting on three straight.

McLean's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Langley, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

McLean didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-8 victory against Lake Braddock on the 5th. As for Langley, they will face off against Washington-Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
