It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Quincy Notre Dame had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Hillsboro Hiltoppers a 9-0 shutout. Considering Quincy Notre Dame have won eight matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Quincy Notre Dame and bumps their season record up to 13-7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those two games. As for Hillsboro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
