Soccer Game Preview: Hardin County vs. Jackson Christian

The Hardin County Tigers will head out to face off against the Jackson Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hardin County has four straight wins, Jackson Christian has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Hardin County barely beat Wayne County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Friday. Hardin County might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by four goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Jackson Christian came up short against Brighton on Friday and fell 5-3.

Bryan Hart and Matthew Edwards scored all three of the Eagles' goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Hardin County pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those four matchups. As for Jackson Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1.
