Recap: MacArthur Generals vs. Spring Lions
The MacArthur Generals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 68-32 loss at the hands of Spring. While losing is never fun, MacArthur can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1050th, while Spring is ranked 282nd).
Tadarius Wade was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jaylan Tran, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
MacArthur has been struggling recently, as they've lost 15 of their last 16 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-22 record this season. As for Spring, they now have a winning record of 13-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. MacArthur will take on Benjamin Davis at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Benjamin Davis is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. As for Spring, they will head out on the road to square off against Dekaney at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
