Basketball Recap: Grandview Takes a Loss

Grandview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Brentwood Eagles, falling 53-29. Having soared to a lofty 55 points in the game before, Grandview couldn't push the score so high this time.

Grandview's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Brentwood, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grandview will head out to take on St. Clair at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brentwood, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hancock at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brentwood is facing Hancock at the right time seeing as Hancock is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
