Volleyball Recap: Walnut Grove Wildcats vs. Whitehouse Wildcats
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Walnut Grove had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Whitehouse Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but Walnut Grove sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Walnut Grove walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-11, 25-17.
Kate Clegg paced Walnut Grove's offense, picking up 17 kills. Clegg got some help from
Danielle Whitmire and her 44 assists.

J'Leigh Larra kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
Walnut Grove has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 28-16 record this season. As for Whitehouse, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 33-10 record.
Walnut Grove is on the road again on Friday to play Wakeland. Wakeland will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Walnut Grove surely won't give up without a fight. Whitehouse does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
