Sandia Prep came tearing into Thursday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Cuba Rams 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Sundevils also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Sandia Prep won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 25-7.

Sandia Prep's record now sits at 12-3. As for Cuba, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sandia Prep will face off against rival Cottonwood Classical Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cuba is set to challenge their familiar foe Bosque at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
