Volleyball Recap: Elizabeth Comes Up Short

Elizabeth lost against Marquez back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Elizabeth came up short against Marquez, falling 3-0.

Elizabeth took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-17, 25-20.

Elizabeth's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Marquez, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elizabeth and Sotomayor will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Elizabeth is facing Sotomayor at the right time seeing as Sotomayor is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Marquez, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Torres at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
