Basketball Recap: The Vanguard School Coursers vs. La Junta Tigers
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask The Vanguard School). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the La Junta Tigers 107-45. The Coursers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Leading The Vanguard School to victory were JJ Wetters and Matty Dessalegn. Wetters posted 22 points along with eight assists and three steals, while Dessalegn almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine boards. Dessalegn has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 14 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Bregard, who earned 13 points in addition to seven assists and five boards.
