Alexander waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Waterford Wildcats. This was payback for the Spartans, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Alexander was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 19-25, 25-11, 25-21.

Leading Alexander to victory were Ava McCall and Abbi Ohms. McCall had 12 digs and five aces, while Ohms had 13 digs and two aces. Ohms has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Alexander's record now sits at 17-3. As for Waterford, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-14.

Alexander didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Athens on the 7th. As for Waterford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Belpre on the 6th.
