Unity Christian entered their tilt with Mt. Pulaski on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Hilltoppers by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Hilltoppers back in September, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Unity Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Mt. Pulaski between 19 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19.

Unity Christian's offense was headlined by Cameron Brown and Mallory Harrison, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Sadie Reiterman and her 14 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Unity Christian's win bumped their record up to 24-6. As for Mt. Pulaski, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.

Unity Christian has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Sacred Heart-Griffin on the 17th. As for Mt. Pulaski, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Hartsburg-Emden on the 18th.
