Football Game Preview: Sultan Turks vs. Bellevue Christian Vikings + Official Tickets

The Sultan Turks will head out on the road to take on the Bellevue Christian Vikings at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sultan will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Sultan is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 48-7 victory over Jefferson. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Turks with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 39 points the game before, Bellevue Christian was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They came up short against East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum], falling 33-7. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Vikings, who until this contest were averaging 12.33 points allowed.

Sultan pushed their record up to 4-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.0 points on average over those games. As for Bellevue Christian, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Sultan suffered a grim 46-25 defeat to Bellevue Christian in their previous matchup back in September of 2021. Thankfully for the Turks, Collin Neal (who rushed for 253 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
