Volleyball Game Preview: Aucilla Christian Warriors vs. Hilliard Red Flashes

Aucilla Christian has gone a perfect 4-0 against Hilliard recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Warriors will face off against the Red Flashes at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Aucilla Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Jefferson County 3-0.

Aucilla Christian found their leader in freshman Molly McNeill, who had 16 assists and five aces. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for McNeill. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Young, who had five aces.

Aucilla Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. They are 9-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Meanwhile, Hilliard made easy work of Madison County on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Hilliard's win came from a few key players Aucilla Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Dakota Howard, who had 11 kills. Those 11 kills gave her a new career-high. Sara Buchanan was another key player, getting 20 assists.

Hilliard's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Aucilla Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.

Everything went Aucilla Christian's way against Hilliard when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Aucilla Christian made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Red Flashes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
