Volleyball Recap: Granite Hills Takes a Loss

Granite Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sultana Sultans. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Sultans when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Sultana got the win, Granite Hills sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. The final score came out to 28-26, 29-27, 18-25, 25-15.

Granite Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Sultana, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Looking ahead, Granite Hills will venture away from home to take on Apple Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sultana, they will host Rim of the World at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
