Baseball Recap: Marion Has No Trouble Against Bowler

Marion had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 3-4 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Bowler Panthers. The game marked the Mustangs' most dominant win of the season so far.

As for Bowler, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. They haven't had much luck with Marion recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

For Bowler's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Treyvon Granquist, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Marion will take on rival Gresham Community at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bowler is set to square off against their familiar foe Tigerton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
