Weston Laughlin posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Laughlin and Covenant Christian will face off against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Laughlin had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in May of 2024 8-6.
