Oak Hills is 9-1 against Middletown since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Highlanders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Middies at 10:00 a.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Oak Hills fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Lakota East on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thunderhawks. The game marked the Highlanders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Middletown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-7 heartbreaker at the hands of Colerain. On the bright side, the seven- run performance marked the Middies' highest-scoring match to date.

Middletown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Oak Hills, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5.

Oak Hills took their win against Middletown in their previous meeting back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 18-3 score. Will the Highlanders repeat their success, or do the Middies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
