Volleyball Recap: Tampa Prep Has No Trouble Against Maxpreps

The Tampa Prep Terrapins got the win against the MaxPreps Preppies on Sunday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Terrapins.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Tampa Prep was: they took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-10, 25-10.

Tampa Prep found their leader in sophomore Sophia Merenda, who had seven digs and five aces.

Tampa Prep's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for MaxPreps, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-1.

Coming up, Tampa Prep will challenge Cardinal Mooney at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. MaxPreps does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
