Basketball Recap: Hannah Strange's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Central Georgia Arts over Windsor Academy

Central Georgia Arts lost against Windsor Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Central Georgia Arts fell 49-40 to the Windsor Academy Knights. Central Georgia Arts has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Central Georgia Arts players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hannah Strange, who posted 15 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. That's the most points Strange has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Katelyn Koerts, who had ten points and eight boards.

Windsor Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kyndall Bowen out in front who scored 16 points and eight rebounds. Bowen has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Audrey Dobson was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 boards.

Central Georgia Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Windsor Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 4-17 record.

Central Georgia Arts wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 55-27 loss against Konos Academy on the 31st. As for Windsor Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-40 victory against Flint River Academy on the 1st.
