Basketball Recap: South Bison vs. Big Horn Rams

After flying high against Burns on Thursday, South came back down to earth. The South Bison were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 56-55 to the Big Horn Rams.

Despite the loss, South still got an impressive performance from Dominic Callahan, who went 9 for 16 on his way to 22 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Preston Decker, who went 5 of 10 en route to 11 points and three steals.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Big Horn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Avon Barney, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tucker Wulff, who posted seven points.

South's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

South didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-42 defeat against Pine Bluffs on the 13th. As for Big Horn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 65-31 loss against Lingle-Fort Laramie on the 13th.
