Basketball Recap: Issaquah's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Issaquah came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 52-47 victory over the Hazen Highlanders. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Highlanders are ranked 318th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Issaquah has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.1 points per game. As for Hazen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Issaquah will welcome Mount Si at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mount Si will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Issaquah surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hazen, they and Renton will face off at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
