Basketball Recap: Fergus Falls Takes a Loss

Fergus Falls entered their matchup against Alexandria on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Fergus Falls Otters took a blow against the Alexandria Cardinals, falling 90-46. The Otters were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 57-24.

It was another big night for Mason Witt, who went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points for Alexandria. Another player making a difference was Chase Thompson, who went 6 of 13 en route to 17 points.

Fergus Falls' loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-4. As for Alexandria, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
