Meridian came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Sullivan, but Tegan McRill wouldn't allow it. The Redskins came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 62-55 on Friday for which the team can thank McRill, who went 8-for-19 en route to 22 points and eight rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Despite the loss, Meridian still got an impressive performance from Bryce Brown, who shot 40% from the field on his way to 25 points along with eight boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Ted Jones, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 rebounds.

Sullivan's record now sits at 3-1. As for Meridian, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Sullivan has already played their next contest, a 47-38 defeat against Paris on the 6th. As for Meridian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 74-64 loss against Vandalia on the 6th.
