Basketball Game Preview: Loudonville Redbirds vs. Wellington Dukes

The Loudonville Redbirds will challenge the Wellington Dukes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Loudonville and five for Wellington.

Loudonville is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Clear Fork on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Loudonville was dealt a 72-41 loss at the hands of Clear Fork. The Redbirds were down 59-30 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Wellington scored the most points they've had this season last Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were beaten by Brookside 94-67. The Dukes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-32.

Loudonville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Wellington, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
