Volleyball Recap: Trinity Prep Falls Short of the Master's Academy in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Trinity Prep can now relate to. They fell just short of The Master's Academy Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Saints' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it eight in a row.

Trinity Prep took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 22-25, 24-26, 25-19, 16-14.

Trinity Prep's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for The Master's Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Trinity Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for The Master's Academy, they will square off against Orangewood Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
