Basketball Recap: Hammon Triumphs

Hammon posted their closest victory since January 16, 2024 on Saturday. They skirted past the Lomega Raiders 53-51. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 57-56 loss the last time these two teams met.

Hammon has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.2 points per game. As for Lomega, their defeat ended a 21-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 18-2.

Hammon is taking a road trip to take on Canute at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Canute comes in on 12 and Hammon on three. As for Lomega, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Timberlake at 6:30 p.m.
