Mayfield strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Centennial Hawks. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Audrina Guillen made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Guillen was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ausaundra Roberto, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-3. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. Ariana Lujan was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Mayfield was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .571. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .321 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Mayfield's win bumped their record up to 16-0. As for Centennial, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mayfield beat the Hawks by a score of 8-4 later that day.
