Basketball Recap: Rison Takes a Loss

Rison suffered their biggest loss since February 9, 2024 on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Drew Central Pirates, falling 73-45. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 79-75 back in December of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Rison and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Drew Central, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Rison will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lakeside at 7:00 p.m. Rison is facing Lakeside at the right time seeing as Lakeside is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Drew Central, they will head out to take on Dumas at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
