Prospect is a perfect 9-0 against Elk Grove since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Grenadiers at 6:00 p.m. Prospect will be strutting in after a victory while Elk Grove will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Prospect earned a 2-0 win over Rolling Meadows. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Prospect not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Rolling Meadows between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Elk Grove came up short against Maine East on Wednesday and fell 2-0. The Grenadiers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Elk Grove was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22.

Elk Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 5-23. As for Prospect, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.

Prospect beat Elk Grove 2-0 in their previous matchup back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
