Basketball Game Preview: Bolton Wildcats vs. Millington Central Trojans

Having just played yesterday, the Bolton Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Millington Central Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Bolton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Bolton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on Craigmont with a sharp 101-81 victory on Friday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Millington Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They slipped by Tipton-Rosemark Academy 30-29 on Tuesday. The 30-point effort marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Bolton better focus on containing Cody McGhee and Marlow Bean as the pair were huge in Millington Central's win. McGhee posted ten points and three steals, while Bean had eight points.

Millington Central moved to 5-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Bolton, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Bolton came up short against Millington Central in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 82-74. Can Bolton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
